Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional preventive and therapeutic oral hygiene care to patients
• Perform thorough periodontal assessments and charting
• Administer local anesthesia and nitrous oxide as needed
• Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and treatment plans
• Take and develop dental X-rays with precision
• Collaborate with dentists to ensure comprehensive patient care

Qualifications

• Active Dental Hygienist license in Pennsylvania
• Current CPR certification
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Commitment to delivering high-quality patient care

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficiency in dental hygiene procedures including scaling and root planing
• Knowledge of dental radiography and safety protocols
• Experience with electronic health records (EHR) systems
• Excellent patient education and motivational interviewing skills
• Attention to detail and infection control standards
