Location: Carmichael, California
Start Date: 07-07-2026
End Date: 10-06-2026
Contract Type: Contract
Shift Type: On-call rotation required; average 12 days per month including at least one weekend (Friday 5:30 PM - Monday 7:00 AM); weekday shifts vary
Hours per Week: 40
Candidate Pay Rate: $97 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Prepare and maintain the cardiac catheterization lab for procedures
- Scrub in for cardiac and peripheral interventions including PCI and STEMI cases
- Assist physicians during diagnostic and interventional procedures
- Monitor patient hemodynamics and document accurately in Cerner EMR
- Ensure sterile technique and patient safety throughout procedures
- Participate in on-call rotation covering weekends and holidays
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of recent cath lab experience
- Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) or Cardiovascular Technologist (CVT) certification
- Current BLS certification
- Ability to scrub cardiac and peripheral cases independently
- No radiology license required; must have strong scrub skills
Knowledge & Skills
- Proficient in cardiac catheterization and peripheral interventions
- Experience with Cerner EMR system
- Knowledge of sterile techniques and radiation safety
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
