Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $53 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive speech-language pathology services to patients in a home health setting
Conduct evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans to improve communication and swallowing
Implement therapeutic interventions and monitor patient progress toward goals
Educate patients and families on techniques and exercises for continued improvement
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to ensure coordinated care
Document patient care accurately and timely in accordance with regulations

Qualifications

Must have active Kentucky Speech-Language Pathologist license in hand at time of submission
Minimum 1 year of clinical experience
Home health experience required
Current BLS certification
CCC-SLP certification required

Knowledge & Skills

Expertise in speech-language pathology assessment and treatment
Knowledge of home health regulations and documentation
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to travel within a large territory covering 11 counties
Proficient in using electronic health records and tablet devices
