Location: Le Mars, IA

Start Date: 07-16-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: 12-hour night shifts, weekday and weekend, with holiday rotation

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $70 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive nursing care to obstetric and labor & delivery patients
Seamlessly transition to med-surg when OB needs subside
Take charge nurse shifts as assigned, leading the unit with confidence
Collaborate with a supportive team in a top-rated Critical Access Hospital
Ensure holiday coverage as part of the rotation schedule

Qualifications

2+ years of experience in labor and delivery required
Active RN license in Iowa or compact state (NLC)
Ability to cover med-surg as needed

Knowledge & Skills

Expertise in labor and delivery nursing
Experience with med-surg patient care
Proficient in Point Click EMR
Charge nurse leadership abilities
