Roles & Responsibilities

• Monitor and assess patients in the Progressive Care Unit, identifying changes in condition and responding promptly
• Administer medications and intravenous therapies with precision and care
• Interpret cardiac rhythms and telemetry, escalating concerns as needed
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and adjust individualized care plans
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans, medications, and post-discharge care
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient status and interventions

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Michigan or a compact state
• BLS certification required
• ACLS certification required
• Completion of Trinity-specific competency testing and skills checklist
• Ability to pass a health screening and drug test

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong cardiac monitoring and rhythm interpretation skills
• Ability to manage multiple patients with complex needs
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Critical thinking and quick decision-making
• Proficiency with electronic health records (EHR)
