Shift Type: Night shifts, 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, rotating with 1 AM and 1 PM shifts, call requirements twice per schedule, two weekends per schedule (AM Saturday and Sunday and PM Friday and Saturday)

Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate labor and delivery care to expecting mothers
• Circulate in OR for c-section deliveries with precision and calm
• Monitor fetal hearts and maternal vitals using state-of-the-art GE equipment
• Manage inductions, C-sections, and postpartum recovery with expertise
• Collaborate with a tight-knit team of 52 staff to deliver 2600 babies yearly
• Support antepartum patients and ensure safe transitions to recovery bays

Qualifications

• Active RN license with at least 1 year of L&D experience
• Must have BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications
• Background in circulating OR for c-section deliveries
• Preferred experience in postpartum care
• Positive, open-minded team player ready for a busy unit

Education

• RN licensure required, BSN preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Expertise in L&D procedures like inductions, cerclages, D&Cs, and mechanical dilators
• Familiarity with GE fetal monitoring, Panda warmers, and Hillrom labor beds
• Proficiency in CPN and Meditech EMR systems
• Knowledge of protocols for oxytocin, hemorrhage care, preeclampsia, and magnesium sulfate
