Shift Type: 12-hour night shifts, 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, includes weekends

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $53 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Assess patients' mental health status using diagnostic tools and observation
Develop and implement individualized care plans for behavioral health patients
Administer psychiatric medications and monitor for side effects
Provide crisis intervention and de-escalation support
Build trust through therapeutic communication and empathy
Monitor physical and psychological symptoms, including vital signs and mental status changes

Qualifications

Active RN license in Missouri
At least 2 years of experience in behavioral health nursing
BLS and CPI certifications required
Ability to work night shifts and weekends

Patient monitoring
De-escalation techniques
Knowledge of psychotropic medications
Meditech documentation system
