Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Wednesday to Monday, 6 days on/8 days off rotation, 36-hour guarantee, every other weekend required

Hours per Week: 60

Roles & Responsibilities

Administer medications and perform therapeutic modalities for the cardio-pulmonary system
Respond immediately to rapid responses, arrests, and STAT situations with CPR and life support
Evaluate and treat patients using respiratory care protocols
Deliver medications via aerosol and metered dose inhalers
Set up and maintain oxygen therapy according to protocol
Maintain artificial airways and provide cardiac compressions as needed

Qualifications

At least 2 years of recent RRT experience required
Previous travel work experience preferred
Active RRT certification through the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC)
Active Michigan license (LARA) - must be in good standing
Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP certifications from the American Heart Association
Must reside outside a 50-mile radius from Midland, MI

Knowledge & Skills

Expertise in respiratory therapy techniques and equipment
Skilled in neonatal resuscitation and life support
Proficient in medication administration via aerosol and MDI
Knowledge of oxygen therapy protocols and airway management
Ability to work independently and in team settings
