Roles & Responsibilities

• Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms for telemetry patients
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare team to deliver optimal patient care
• Document patient vitals, changes in condition, and interventions accurately
• Provide patient and family education on cardiac health and recovery

Qualifications

• Active RN license in Virginia or compact state
• BLS certification required (AHA)
• Prior telemetry or cardiac nursing experience preferred
• Strong critical thinking and communication skills

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficient in ECG rhythm interpretation
• Skilled in patient assessment and monitoring
• Comfortable with electronic health records (EHR)
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
