Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, high-quality nursing care to pediatric ICU patients
• Monitor vital signs, administer medications, and manage complex medical equipment
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement care plans
• Educate and support families during critical health situations
• Respond quickly to emergencies and changes in patient condition

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Ohio
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from AHA
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification
• Minimum 1-2 years of recent PICU experience preferred
• Strong critical thinking and communication skills

Knowledge & Skills

• Expertise in pediatric critical care and emergency response
• Proficiency with IV therapy, ventilators, and monitoring systems
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent assessment and documentation skills
