Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Day shift, variable start times between 5:00 AM - 6:00 PM, 36-hour guarantee, no weekends, no on-call

Hours per Week: 60

Roles & Responsibilities

Regularly assess patient needs and provide skilled nursing services as prescribed by the physician's plan of care
Administer medications, perform treatments, and respond to patient calls and alarms
Evaluate treatment effectiveness and collaborate with the team to update care plans
Process physician orders accurately and in a timely manner
Follow up on medication changes and order clarifications to ensure optimal patient outcomes

Qualifications

2+ years of RN experience
Pre/Post Op experience required
PACU experience required
Active Michigan RN license (or compact if applicable)
BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association

Knowledge & Skills

Strong assessment and critical thinking skills
Proficiency in medication administration and IV therapy
Experience with Epic EMR (preferred)
Knowledge of ambulatory surgery and PACU protocols
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a team
