Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate nursing care to a diverse patient population across multiple units including cardiac, neuro, oncology, ortho, and more
• Float among facilities within Zone 1 (Colorado Springs area) as needed
• Titrate heparin drips and monitor telemetry
• Collaborate with charge nurses and interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Adapt quickly to different unit protocols and patient acuities

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of Medical-Surgical/Telemetry experience
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications (AHA required)
• Active RN license (compact accepted; must be willing to obtain Colorado license)
• Ability to float within a 60-mile radius and work at multiple facilities

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficient in EPIC charting system
• Experience with heparin titration and telemetry monitoring
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment
