Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: 12-hour Night Shifts, 36-hour weekly guarantee, every other weekend, no on-call

Hours per Week: 60

Roles & Responsibilities

Perform thorough nursing assessments and triage patients in the ER
Provide immediate care in life-threatening situations and assist physicians with procedures
Process physician orders accurately and follow up on medication changes and clarifications
Evaluate effectiveness of treatment plans and collaborate with the care team to optimize patient outcomes
Deliver compassionate care and discharge instructions to patients and families

Qualifications

At least 2 years of ER nursing experience required
Travel nursing experience highly preferred
Active Michigan RN license (or compact license with MI eligibility)
Current AHA BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP, and TNCC certifications required

Knowledge & Skills

Expert in ER nursing assessment and triage
Skilled in patient care planning and coordination
Proficient with emergency equipment and procedures
Strong communication and teamwork abilities
Ability to work in a fast-paced, stressful environment
