Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, including weekends and holidays

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $60 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide expert emergency nursing care to a diverse patient population, including trauma, burns, and medical emergencies
Manage telemetry monitoring and interpret cardiac rhythms
Insert Foley catheters and perform central line dressing changes while maintaining sterile field
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including MDs, midlevels, and RTs
Float between four facilities within a 30-minute radius as needed
Participate in SIMs lab and pass skills validation on day one

Qualifications

Active RN license in Arizona or compact state
Minimum 2 years of ER experience, including at least 6 months in a Level 1 Trauma center
BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
TNCC and ATCN preferred
Must pass DYS exam prior to acceptance (2 attempts allowed)

Knowledge & Skills

Proficient in Cerner EMR
Skilled in telemetry monitoring and strip reading
Strong understanding of sterile field maintenance
Experience with Foley catheter insertion and central line dressing changes
Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment
