Contract Type: Per-Diem

Shift Type: Variable shifts as needed, 12.5-hour shifts (days/nights)

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $51 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive care to mothers and newborns during labor, delivery, and postpartum
Monitor maternal and fetal vital signs, administer medications, and assist with delivery procedures
Educate and support families through the birthing process
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure safe outcomes
Maintain accurate documentation and uphold patient safety standards

Qualifications

Current RN license in Virginia (or compact state)
BLS and NRP certifications required
Previous L&D experience preferred
Passion for women's health and newborn care

Knowledge & Skills

Knowledge of obstetric nursing and fetal monitoring
Strong communication and patient education skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Teamwork and collaboration skills
