Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: As needed, based on case load; weekend availability required; on-call as discussed at interview. No guaranteed hours.

Roles & Responsibilities

Perform and process X-Rays using portable digital or computed radiography equipment and transmit to Radiologists for interpretation
Unload portable X-Ray equipment and take into facilities to perform exams ordered by physicians
Obtain clinically diagnostic, technically competent X-Ray images
Perform EKGs as needed and transmit to Cardiologists for interpretation
Scan exam related paperwork and billing documents daily per protocol
Communicate regularly with dispatch and management
Interact professionally with peers, supervisory staff, and clients
Maintain vehicle and X-Ray equipment

Qualifications

Active ARRT certification (required)
California State Radiologic Technologist License (required)
Valid Driver's License (required)
Must provide attestation of no non-compete agreements

Knowledge & Skills

Proficient in portable X-Ray and EKG procedures
Knowledge of digital (DR) and computed (CR) radiography equipment
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Excellent communication and client service skills
Physical ability to push/pull equipment weighing up to 100 lbs
