• "What areas do they cover? This is a generalist med tech position. They need to cover all areas of the lab.
• Do they need to be a Generalist? Yes
• Do they need to perform Phlebotomy? No
• Experience or 'Must have' skills & common job duties Need experience working alone on the graveyard shift and be proficient in all areas of the lab, including blood bank.
• LIS System (ie. Polytech, Avalon, Orchard Software, Apollo, Prolis, Bio Tracer, etc.) Epic
• EMR/Specific Equipment used in each area? Wellsky for blood banking, Unity Real Time for QC, Data Innovations as our middleware
• Lab Manager/Supervisor No
• Lab Assistant No
• Shifts & Scheduling (Do you allow self-scheduling? Block scheduling?) Graveyard shift. We don't allow self scheduling. Our schedule is for 6 weeks.
