Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM, 40 hours guaranteed

Roles & Responsibilities

Assist physicians and nursing staff to ensure smooth and efficient office operations
Provide direct patient care including obtaining vital signs and gathering medical histories
Prepare patients for office procedures and assist with specimen collection and preparation
Administer injections under the direct supervision of a physician
Communicate test results and recommended care plans to patients as directed
Collect and process appropriate informed consent forms and surgical packets

Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of experience as a Medical Assistant
Active Medical Assistant certification (required upon submission)
Current BLS certification through the American Heart Association
Reliable transportation and willingness to travel (own vehicle required)
Permanent address outside the 100-mile radius of the facility
Previous travel experience highly preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Proficient in obtaining vital signs and patient history
Knowledge of medical terminology and office procedures
Experience with specimen collection and preparation
Skilled in administering injections
Familiarity with electronic health records
Strong communication and patient education skills
