Shift Type: Rotating shifts including 8-hour (6:30 AM - 3:00 PM), 10-hour, and 12-hour options with mids starting at 9:00 AM or 10:45 AM; weekend and holiday coverage provided by call
Hours per Week: 40
Candidate Pay Rate: $48 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Prepare operating rooms and ensure all equipment and supplies are ready for each procedure
- Assist surgeons during a wide range of cases including total joints, general, vascular, spine, and CVOR procedures
- Maintain sterile technique and support the surgical team throughout every case
- Collaborate with the Clinical Supervisor and OR leadership to deliver exceptional patient care
- Respond to on-call needs for weeknights and weekends to support the OR team
Qualifications
- Current Surgical Tech certification or license as required by California
- Strong hands-on experience with total joints, general surgery, vascular, and spine procedures
- Familiarity with Cerner Surginet EMR system
- Ability to work 8-, 10-, or 12-hour shifts and participate in call rotation
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to maintaining sterile fields
Knowledge & Skills
- Proficient with Cerner Surginet documentation
- Skilled in scrubbing for CVOR cases including CABG, valve procedures, pacers, and lung cases
- Comfortable with a variety of surgical specialties: ortho, neuro/spine, ENT, trauma, and general/vascular
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities
- Flexible and reliable with call coverage
