Location: Kearney, Nebraska

Start Date: 07-06-2026

End Date: 10-05-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM start, 8 or 10-hour shifts with one weeknight call until 7:00 AM next morning and three 24-hour weekend call shifts per month

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $50 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Scrub independently for cranial procedures and neuro-trauma cases
Assist with total joint replacements and orthopedic trauma surgeries
Support a fast-paced OR handling 18 cases daily across 11 suites
Collaborate with surgeons and anesthesia teams to ensure patient safety
Maintain sterile technique while working with advanced robotics systems
Respond to call within 15 minutes when scheduled for weeknight or weekend coverage

Qualifications

Current CST certification preferred but not required
BLS certification required
Strong experience in orthopedic trauma and total joints
Proven ability to scrub independently for cranial procedures
Comfortable working in a Level II trauma environment
Willingness to work flexible schedules and float as needed

Knowledge & Skills

Orthopedic trauma and total joint procedures
Neuro trauma and cranial case experience
General OR knowledge across multiple specialties
Robotics systems including DaVinci, Mako, Stealth, and Scopis
EPIC electronic medical record system
Strong work ethic and commitment to patient safety
