Sonographer – UHC Staffing

Sonographer

Location: Durango, Colorado

Start Date: 07-06-2026

End Date: 10-05-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: 4 days per week, 10-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM or 7:30 AM - 6:00 PM, variable days including weekends and holidays as needed, plus call 1-2 nights per week and every 3rd weekend

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $60 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Perform high-quality general, OBGYN, and vascular ultrasound examinations
Conduct procedures including drains and biopsies with precision and care
Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare teams to deliver exceptional patient outcomes
Maintain accurate documentation using Fuji EPIC systems
Ensure patient comfort and safety throughout every scan

Qualifications

Current RDMS certification (General or OBGYN)
BLS certification required
RVT preferred, RDCS a bonus
Strong experience in general and OBGYN ultrasound
Procedure experience highly valued

Knowledge & Skills

Proficiency with Phillips ultrasound equipment
Experience with Fuji EPIC EMR and PACS systems
Ability to perform 8-10+ scans per day
Strong attention to detail and patient care
Comfortable working independently with radiologist support
