Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Full-time NOC shift, 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM, including weekends and one holiday

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $56 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide expert respiratory care to mostly adult patients with some pediatric cases in the ED
Manage ventilators and Bubble CPAP for neonates starting at 32 weeks in our strong level 2 nursery
Draw ABGs and set up BiPAP and ventilator treatments
Administer nebulizer treatments and provide standby support for conscious sedation and cardioversion
Assist with intubations and collaborate with a lead therapist on every shift

Qualifications

Active Washington RT License required
RRT or CRT certification accepted
BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
Strong NICU experience with Bubble CPAP competency for 32 weeks and up
Ventilator skills essential

Knowledge & Skills

Ventilator management with PB 980 equipment
Philips V60 and Respironics Lumis for BiPAP and CPAP
ABG draws and nebulizer treatments
Conscious sedation and cardioversion standby support
Team collaboration with 24/7 hospitalist and intensivist coverage
