Roles & Responsibilities

Deliver comprehensive respiratory care across all inpatient hospital areas
Manage both invasive and non-invasive ventilator support for critically ill patients
Respond to emergencies and assist with intubations to ensure patient safety
Perform arterial blood gases and pulmonary hygiene procedures
Coordinate home oxygen assessments and patient transport for those with artificial airways
Provide medication delivery and hyperinflation therapy tailored to each patient

Qualifications

Current Colorado Respiratory Therapist license required
RRT or CRT credential accepted
BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP certifications required
Experience providing respiratory modalities in hospital settings
Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team

Knowledge & Skills

Respiratory modalities and medication delivery
Ventilator management for both invasive and non-invasive support
Emergency response and intubation assistance
Arterial blood gas sampling and analysis
Patient transport of critically ill individuals
Home oxygen assessment and coordination
