Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM and 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, every other weekend

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $64 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, high-quality care to oncology and trauma PCU patients
Monitor and titrate drips including insulin and cardizem as needed
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including PT/OT, case managers, and social workers
Float to same-level med/surg and PCU units to support patient care across the facility
Perform hourly rounding to enhance patient experience and safety
Administer chemotherapy and manage complex medications with attention to detail
Utilize EPIC EMR and Alaris IV pumps to deliver efficient, accurate care
Support patients and families through every stage of the oncology journey with empathy and respect

Qualifications

Active RN license in Nebraska or compact state
BLS, ACLS, and ONS/ONCC certifications required
Minimum 1 year of PCU or oncology nursing experience
EPIC experience within the last 6 months preferred
First-time travelers welcome
Valid driver's license required at submission

Knowledge & Skills

Ventilator management and hemodynamic monitoring (CVP, A-line, Swan-Ganz, EV-1000)
Chemotherapy administration (preferred, not required)
Strong teamwork and genuine patient-centered care approach
Ability to work with diverse patient populations and cultural backgrounds
Willingness to float within same level of care
