Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM and 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, every other weekend

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $64 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, high-quality care to oncology and trauma PCU patients
Monitor and titrate drips including insulin and cardizem
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including PT/OT, case managers, and dietitians
Perform hourly rounding to enhance patient experience
Float to med/surg and PCU units as needed while maintaining excellent care standards
Support patients from diagnosis through remission or provide peaceful end-of-life care

Qualifications

Active RN license
BLS and ACLS certifications required
ONS/ONCC certification required
Minimum 1 year of PCU or oncology experience
First-time travelers welcome
Valid driver's license required at submittal

Knowledge & Skills

Experience with EPIC EMR preferred
Familiarity with ventilators and hemodynamic monitoring (CVP, A-line, Swan, EV-1000)
Comfort with chemotherapy administration preferred
Strong teamwork and communication abilities
Willingness to care for culturally diverse patient populations
