Registered Nurse - PCU/IMC Float Pool
Location: Centennial, Colorado

Contract Type: Travel Contract
Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, schedules released 4-6 weeks in advance
Hours per Week: 36
Candidate Pay Rate: $64 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate care to adult and geriatric patients across multiple PCU/IMC specialties
- Manage and titrate cardiac drips including dopamine, dobutamine, cardizem, and amiodarone
- Monitor insulin, heparin, and ativan drips while ensuring patient safety and comfort
- Float throughout Zone 1 facilities to support various units including cardiac, neuro, oncology, and trauma
- Collaborate with charge nurses and interdisciplinary teams to deliver exceptional patient outcomes
- Adapt quickly to different patient populations and acuity levels while maintaining high standards of care
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Colorado or compact license
- BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
- Minimum 2 years of PCU/IMC experience
- Comfortable with cardiac drip titration and management
- Epic experience preferred, neuro experience a plus
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong cardiac monitoring and drip management skills
- Ability to float across multiple specialties and facilities
- Excellent communication and adaptability
- Experience with insulin, heparin, and ativan management
- Comfort working with diverse patient populations including cardiac, neuro, and post-surgical
