Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, schedules released 4-6 weeks in advance

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $64 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate care to adult and geriatric patients across multiple PCU/IMC specialties
Manage and titrate cardiac drips including dopamine, dobutamine, cardizem, and amiodarone
Monitor patients on insulin, heparin, and ativan drips with precision and attention to detail
Float throughout Zone 1 facilities to support various units including cardiac, neuro, oncology, and trauma
Collaborate with charge nurses and interdisciplinary teams to deliver exceptional patient outcomes
Adapt quickly to different patient populations and acuity levels while maintaining high standards of care

Qualifications

Active RN license in Colorado or compact state
BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
Minimum 2 years of PCU/IMC experience
Comfortable managing cardiac drips, insulin, ativan, and heparin
Epic experience preferred, neuro experience a plus

Knowledge & Skills

Strong cardiac drip management and titration skills
Ability to float across multiple specialties and facilities within a 60-mile zone
Excellent assessment and critical thinking abilities
Flexible and adaptable to changing patient assignments and schedules
Comfortable working with diverse patient populations from cardiac to oncology
