Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 6:30 AM - 7:00 PM and 6:30 PM - 7:00 AM

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $64 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate cardiac and neurological care to adult and geriatric patients
Monitor continuous EEG and respond quickly to any changes in patient condition
Titrate cardiac and seizure medications safely while watching for patient response
Collaborate with the care team to deliver excellent outcomes on a fast-paced unit
Support patients and families with clear communication and problem-solving skills

Qualifications

Active RN license in Nebraska or compact state
BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
Minimum one year of recent PCU or telemetry experience preferred
Strong critical thinking and communication skills

Knowledge & Skills

Cardiac monitoring and drip titration
EEG monitoring experience
Ability to manage 1:4-5 patient ratios confidently
Positive attitude and willingness to float to medical floors, ICU, or rehab
