Location: Lakewood, Colorado

Start Date: 07-06-2026

End Date: 10-05-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Variable start times between 7:30 AM - 11:00 AM, primarily covering 11:00 AM - 11:00 PM, with on-call requirements 1 night every 6 weeks including holidays

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $57 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide exceptional Phase 1 and Phase 2 recovery care for diverse surgical patients
Monitor and respond to cardiac rhythms while caring for ICU patients in the PACU setting
Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure seamless patient transitions from OR to recovery
Manage complex cases including ortho, trauma, cardiac, urology, pulmonary, and GI procedures
Utilize Epic EMR to document patient progress and coordinate care across the healthcare team

Qualifications

Active RN license in Colorado or compact license
ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications required
Previous ED or ICU experience strongly preferred
Epic EMR experience highly valued

Knowledge & Skills

Strong assessment and critical thinking skills for post-anesthesia care
Ability to manage multiple patients with 1:2 nurse-to-patient ratios
Comfort working with vents, CPAP, BiPAP and other respiratory equipment
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Flexibility to float as needed and adapt to variable start times
