Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 6:00 AM - 5:00 PM with Saturday and Sunday call every 6-7 weeks

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $64 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide exceptional pre and post-operative care to patients undergoing General, Ortho, Uro, Robotics, and GYN procedures
Collaborate with surgeons and the surgical team to ensure smooth, safe procedures from start to finish
Monitor patients in the PACU and Phase 2 recovery areas, responding quickly to any changes in condition
Assist with bariatric, pediatric, and endoscopy cases while maintaining the highest standards of sterile technique
Document accurately using Cerner and Surginet EMR systems to support seamless patient care
Float to partner facilities when needed, bringing your expertise wherever it's most valuable

Qualifications

Active RN license in Arizona or compact license
BLS certification required
Experience in General, Ortho, Uro, Robotics, and GYN procedures
Familiarity with Cerner and Surginet EMR systems preferred
Ability to take call and work flexible weekend rotations

Knowledge & Skills

Strong knowledge of OR protocols and sterile technique
Comfortable with bariatric, pediatric, and endoscopy cases
Proficient with Cerner and Surginet documentation
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Quick thinking and calm under pressure in fast-paced surgical environments
