Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM and 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $60 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, high-acuity care to patients with epilepsy, brain tumors, and traumatic brain injuries
Monitor 24-48 hour EEGs and detect subtle neurological changes that make a real difference
Collaborate with an amazing interdisciplinary team including hospitalists, RTs, and SWAT RNs
Float to sister campuses when needed, expanding your skills across multiple Neuro and MedSurg/Tele units
Champion sterile technique during Foley insertions and central line dressing changes
Educate and support patients and families through complex neurological diagnoses

Qualifications

Active RN license in Arizona or compact state
BLS and ACLS certifications required
Minimum 2 years of recent acute care experience
Level 1 trauma experience strongly preferred
BSN preferred; MedSurg/Tele certification a plus

Education

BSN preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Strong critical thinking and assessment skills to catch small changes early
Comfort managing Bipap, Trend EEG monitoring, and post-op neuro patients
Ability to maintain sterile field during procedures
Willingness to float and adapt to different campuses
Clean, professional appearance with natural hair color and no facial piercings
