Location: Baudette, Minnesota

Start Date: 06-22-2026

End Date: 09-21-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 6:45 AM - 7:15 PM and 6:45 PM - 7:15 AM, every 3rd weekend and 3rd holiday

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $63 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate care across MedSurg and Emergency Department units
Admit, discharge, and transfer patients while maintaining continuity of care
Titrate critical medications including insulin, amiodarone, cardizem, and levophed
Start IVs and manage PICC lines and ports with precision
Respond swiftly to codes including cardiorespiratory, stroke, and sepsis situations
Participate in trauma response and stabilize patients for higher-level transfer
Read and interpret cardiac strips independently using Mindray monitors
Collaborate with hospitalists and coordinate with flight transport teams

Qualifications

Current RN license in Minnesota or compact license
BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications required
Minimum ER experience required to float between units
Ability to work independently with minimal staffing support
Comfortable titrating drips and managing critical patients

Knowledge & Skills

Strong ER and MedSurg clinical experience
Proficient with titratable drips and IV management
Skilled in code and trauma response
Familiar with Meditech EMR documentation
Excellent communication and independent decision-making abilities
