Contract Type: Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, weekends and holidays as needed

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $62 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate care to medical-surgical and telemetry patients including CHF, COPD, and post-surgical cases
Monitor cardiac rhythms and respond promptly to patient changes
Administer and titrate Heparin and Cardizem drips within safe parameters
Collaborate with CNAs and the interdisciplinary team to deliver excellent patient outcomes
Float to other units as needed to support hospital-wide care

Qualifications

Active WA or Compact RN license
BLS certification
Minimum 1 year of acute care clinical experience
Comfortable reading telemetry strips and managing limited titratable drips

Knowledge & Skills

Telemetry monitoring and strip interpretation
Medical-surgical overflow patient care
Isolation precautions and end-of-life support
CPAP and BiPAP management
