Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM and 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM, every other weekend

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $60 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate care to a diverse patient population including post-surgical, medical, and telemetry patients
Interpret cardiac telemetry and respond promptly to rhythm changes
Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to deliver high-quality patient outcomes
Precept and mentor nursing students, sharing your expertise and passion for the profession
Float to Multi Care Unit, Pediatric unit, and West Campus MedSurg Tele as needed to support the broader care team

Qualifications

Active RN license in Arizona or compact state
BLS and ACLS certifications required
Minimum 1 year of MedSurg nursing experience
Strong telemetry interpretation skills
Willingness to care for both MST and PCU level patients

Knowledge & Skills

Telemetry interpretation and dysrhythmia recognition
MedSurg and Progressive Care nursing fundamentals
Patient education and advocacy
Precepting and mentoring skills
Flexibility to float across multiple units
