Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM and 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $60 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, high-quality care to patients on the Cardiopulmonary Telemetry and Neuro unit
Monitor and interpret EKGs while delivering expert telemetry nursing care
Collaborate with hospitalists, charge nurses, and the interdisciplinary team to optimize patient outcomes
Support patients recovering from neuro events, CVAs, and pulmonary conditions with skilled assessments and interventions
Educate and empower patients and families throughout their healing journey

Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse license in Arizona or compact state
Minimum 2 years of recent telemetry or neuro experience within the past 6 months
Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
Strong EKG interpretation skills with ability to pass Prophecy Dysrhythmia Exam
Comfortable working with centralized telemetry monitoring and high-flow oxygen systems

Knowledge & Skills

Proficient in EKG interpretation and cardiac monitoring
Skilled with Airvo/High Flow oxygen therapy
Excellent assessment and critical thinking abilities
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced 26-bed telemetry/neuro unit
