Contract Type: Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM with varied start times including 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM, 9:30 AM - 6:00 PM, or 10:30 AM - 7:00 PM; weekend shifts may be required with a weekday off in exchange

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $63 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide expert physical therapy services across acute care, ICU, med-surg, oncology, and cardiac surgery units
Deliver hands-on care to ventilated patients and support complex post-operative recovery
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to create individualized treatment plans
Help patients regain mobility and independence during critical hospital stays
Cover diverse patient populations including ortho, total joints, and cardiology cases

Qualifications

Active Physical Therapist license in California
Current BLS certification
Minimum 2 years of acute care physical therapy experience
Strong background in ortho, total joints, ICU, and ventilated patient care
Comfortable working with Cerner EMR system

Knowledge & Skills

Acute care physical therapy across multiple hospital units
Experience with ventilated and ICU patients
Orthopedic and total joint rehabilitation expertise
Cerner EMR proficiency
Ability to adapt quickly and work independently
