Contract Type: Contract

Shift Type: Varied 8-hour shifts, including 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM, 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM, 9:30 AM - 6:00 PM, or 10:30 AM - 7:00 PM, Monday-Friday with potential weekend shifts

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $63 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide physical therapy services to patients in inpatient and outpatient settings
Develop and implement treatment plans for patients with various diagnoses
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care
Work with patients who have orthopedic, total joint, ICU, ventilated, med-surg, oncology, and cardiology conditions

Qualifications

Current Physical Therapy license
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
At least 2 years of experience in acute care physical therapy
Experience with Cerner EMR
Strong clinical skills in physical therapy, especially with orthopedic and total joint patients

Education

Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or Physical Therapy degree

Knowledge & Skills

Physical therapy techniques and modalities
Patient assessment and evaluation
Treatment planning and implementation
Communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
