Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 40 hours guaranteed, no weekends, no call

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $42 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Guide patients through stretches and exercises to build strength and mobility
Collaborate closely with Physical Therapists to deliver personalized care plans
Empower families with practical at-home techniques for lasting recovery
Maintain a spotless and organized therapy space for optimal healing
Safely assist patients transitioning from wheelchairs or walkers
Handle key administrative tasks to keep everything running smoothly
Teach essential skills like balance training to boost patient independence

Qualifications

Active PTA license in Washington or compact state
1 year of PTA experience required
LTC or SNF experience required
AHA certifications active at start
Skills checklist within the last year
Resume and 0-1 reference ready to submit

Education

PTA license required

Knowledge & Skills

Patient care implementation and data collection
Muscle group exercises and stretching techniques
Collaboration with PTs and family education
Balance training and at-home therapy methods
Administrative organization and patient mobility assistance
