Pharmacy Technician – UHC Staffing

Pharmacy Technician

Location: Durango, CO

Start Date: 06-15-2026

End Date: 09-14-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Variety of 10-hour shifts, including 07:00 AM - 5:30 PM (M-F), 10:30 AM - 9:00 PM (Mon-Fri), and 8:30 AM - 7:00 PM (Sat/Sun/HS), every other weekend

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $34 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Deliver Pyxis medications to hospital units
Manage Pyxis inventory and outdates
Perform crash cart checks and refills
Provide phone triage and respond to Med Messages
Prepare sterile compounds
Assist with hospital pharmacy operations

Qualifications

Current Pharmacy Technician certification (CPhT)
Colorado Technician License
Experience with sterile compounding and hospital pharmacy operations
Strong organizational and communication skills

Education

High school diploma or equivalent
Pharmacy Technician training program

Knowledge & Skills

Sterile compounding
Pyxis inventory management
Phone triage
Hospital pharmacy operations
Medication dispensing systems (Epic, Pyxis)
