Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM, with call 10 days per month or less

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $67 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Serve as the primary circulating nurse ensuring smooth OR operations and patient safety
Coordinate with surgeons and surgical teams across multiple specialties including neurosurgery
Prepare operating rooms and verify all equipment and supplies are ready for procedures
Advocate for patients throughout their surgical experience from pre-op to recovery
Collaborate with a skilled team performing 250 surgeries monthly across 4 operating rooms

Qualifications

Active state nursing license required
Current BLS/BCLS certification
Minimum 3 years of operating room circulating experience
Comfortable and experienced with neurosurgery cases
Strong communication and teamwork skills

Knowledge & Skills

Expert knowledge of circulating nurse responsibilities across multiple surgical specialties
Familiarity with Da Vinci robotic procedures
Ability to handle a fast-paced environment with 250 surgeries monthly
Strong attention to detail and patient advocacy skills
