Shift Type: Block scheduling with flexibility, every other weekend required

Candidate Pay Rate: $55 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations to assess mobility status and safety
Facilitate early mobilization for acute medical, surgical, and orthopedic patients
Determine appropriate discharge destinations including home or rehabilitation transfer
Provide specialized care for ICU patients including stroke recovery and general weakness
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams across Medical/Surgical and Intermediate Care units

Qualifications

Current Colorado Occupational Therapy license required
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Ability to work independently with diverse patient populations
Strong assessment and clinical decision-making skills

Knowledge & Skills

Occupational Therapy evaluation and treatment planning
Patient mobility assessment and safety determination
Early mobilization techniques
Acute inpatient rehabilitation across multiple specialties
