Location: Kapaa, Hawaii

Start Date: 07-20-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM with 1-hour lunch, plus required Saturday shifts

Hours per Week: 32

Candidate Pay Rate: $67 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Evaluate and treat patients to restore function and independence in daily living activities
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans under physician direction
Collaborate with nursing and interdisciplinary teams to deliver coordinated rehabilitative care
Document all services and maintain accurate treatment records
Educate patients, families, and staff on therapy recommendations and techniques
Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and departmental planning
Provide input on activities programming for long-term care and hospital patients
Ensure compliance with safety, infection control, and regulatory standards

Qualifications

Current, active Hawaii Occupational Therapy license required
BLS/BCLS certification required
Minimum 2 years of occupational therapy experience
Strong skills in patient evaluation, ADL assessment, and treatment planning
