Nuclear Medicine Technologist
Location: Bakersfield, California
Start Date: 05-24-2026
End Date: 08-23-2026
Contract Type: Contract
Shift Type: 8-hour days, Monday-Friday, with rotating weekday call after 4:30 PM and rotating weekend call
Hours per Week: 40
Candidate Pay Rate: $67 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Perform cardiac, spect, bone scan, bleed studies, and gastric emptying procedures
- Operate Radnet and Merge Unity systems
- Work effectively in a fast-paced environment with 5-10 scans per day
- Float to Mercy Downtown location as needed
Qualifications
- At least 2 years of experience as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist
- BLS and CA NMTL certifications required
- Experience with GE equipment and Radnet/Merge Unity systems
Education
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Nuclear Medicine Technology or related field
Knowledge & Skills
- Nuclear Medicine procedures and protocols
- Radnet and Merge Unity software
- GE equipment operation
- Strong communication and patient care skills
