Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant - Inpatient/Med Surg

Location: Lawton, Oklahoma

Start Date: 07-06-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM with some weekends

Candidate Pay Rate: $39 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide hands-on occupational therapy support to patients in acute care and inpatient rehab settings
Collaborate with the therapy team to implement individualized treatment plans
Assist patients in regaining independence with daily living activities
Document patient progress and communicate effectively with interdisciplinary teams
Support weekend coverage to ensure continuity of care for patients

Qualifications

Current COTA license or eligibility upon acceptance
BLS/BCLS certification required
ASHA certification required
Less than 1 year of experience welcome to apply
Strong communication and teamwork skills

Knowledge & Skills

Acute care and inpatient rehabilitation experience
Patient-centered approach to therapy
Ability to adapt to a fast-paced hospital environment
Weekend flexibility and reliability
